Object Pronouns, Türkçede “Nesne Zamirleri” olarak kullanılır. Bu zamirlerin en önemli yeri, neredeyse her zaman bir fiilden sonra gelmeleridir. Fiillerden sonra geldikleri için ve nesne oldukları için “Nesne Zamirleri” olurlar. Duruma göre, başka şeylerin de arkasından gelebilirler. Fiiller dışında en çok preposition sözcüklerinden sonra gelirler.
Nesne Nedir?
Nesneler, dil bilgisinde, eylemden etkilenen şey olarak tanımlanabilir. Cümlede bir eylem vardır ve bir de eylemi gerçekleştiren kişi. Nesne ise yapılan eylemden etkilenen şey ya da kişidir. Nesnelerin kişi olmasına gerek yoktur.
”Ben dondurma yedim.” cümlesinde dondurma, cümlenin nesnesidir.

”Ben eve gittim.” cümlesinde ev, nesne değildir. Dolaylı tümleçtir. Ev, yapılan eylemden etkilenmez.
”O vazoyu kırdı.” cümlesinde vazo, yapılan eylemden etkilendiği için nesnedir.
